Claire watched her dad build JS Celebrancy and fell in love with the work. So she qualified as a marriage celebrant and came to me while still finishing her cert, knowing she wanted to launch properly from day one.

She'd seen how much branding matters in the celebrant world and didn't want to spend two years apologising for her logo. Smart move.

The challenge

Claire's warm, inclusive, and genuinely loves love. But the celebrant market in Newcastle is packed, and most of it looks either too formal (think registry office vibes) or too cutesy (Disney fairytale energy). She needed to stand out without looking like her dad's more masculine brand or blending into the sea of script fonts and blush pink.

Oh, and she also needed a name. The ones she'd been playing with weren't landing.

What we built

I started with a brand strategy workshop and threw names around until something clicked. "With Love, Claire" felt immediately right. Personal, warm, like signing off a letter.

From there, the visual identity came together: a flowing wordmark that feels like her signature, soft blush and sand tones with a sea-glass accent, and typography that balances romance with readability.

The website needed to work hard. Light, fast, mobile-first. One clear message at the top, proof she knows what she's doing, and one obvious next step throughout. The contact form captures exactly what Claire needs without endless email ping-pong.

I also designed her welcome pack, ceremony prep sheets, and interactive forms. Paperwork that feels tactile and keepsake-worthy instead of just another PDF.

The result

Claire launched with a brand that feels like a real business. Couples trust it immediately because the whole thing looks legitimate and thought-through.

She's getting incredibly positive feedback. People sign on because it feels professional without being stuffy, warm without being precious. It's her first proper business, and she's proud to show it off.

And yes, she's getting bookings. The website converts enquiries into actual ceremonies, and couples come in with the right information from the start.
