Graphic Design for Businesses That Need to Look the Part

Graphic design covers everything your brand touches once the logo is done. Print, social, signage, presentations, packaging, the lot. If you already have a brand identity and you need it applied properly across real materials, this is that work.

Projects start at $700 for single pieces and $2,800 for multi-item collateral suites. Most turnarounds sit between three days and three weeks depending on scope.

I have spent nineteen years doing this, including senior design roles at Peter Alexander, Kathmandu, Spotlight, Dotti and Portmans. That means I learned print production somewhere the stakes were high and the volumes were enormous. Bleed, colour separations, stock weights, press-ready files that do not come back from the printer with problems. It is unglamorous knowledge and it is the reason your brochure will look like you paid someone.

What I design

Print and production Brochures, catalogues, flyers, lookbooks, direct mail, business cards, stationery, packaging, labels. Supplied as press-ready artwork with correct bleed, colour profile and stock recommendations, so your printer does not have to ring you with questions.

Social media assets Instagram and Facebook templates, carousel systems, story frames, ad creative, campaign sets. Built as editable Canva templates when you want to run them yourself, or as finished artwork when you would rather not think about it.

Signage and environmental Shopfront signage, A-frames, vehicle graphics, banners, market stall setups, event displays, wayfinding. Scaled and specified correctly for the fabricator.

Marketing collateral Lead magnets, sales decks, pitch decks, capability statements, price lists, menus, one-pagers, proposal templates, infographics.

Editorial and layout Reports, annual reviews, magazines, programmes, multi-page documents where the typography has to hold up across forty pages instead of one.

Who this is for

Founder-led and independent businesses that already have a brand and need it applied to real things. Service providers, trades, hospitality, retail, product makers, health practitioners, community organisations and clubs.

It also suits businesses in the awkward middle: too established for Canva and a prayer, not big enough to want an agency retainer and a project manager who has never met you.

If you do not have a brand identity yet, start there instead. Applying design to a brand that has not been defined is how you end up with twelve pieces of collateral that do not look related.

What it costs

Open magazine pages featuring home buying and settlement guides, with images of a woman with a dog, a cozy sofa with plants, and a woman with a dog on a pillow.

Single pieces, from $700 One flyer, one signage design, one lead magnet, one short brochure. Priced on page count and complexity. A simple single-sided piece with copy and images supplied sits at the bottom of that range. A twelve page catalogue sits a long way above it.

Collateral suites, from $2,800 Three or more related pieces designed together as a set. Brochure plus flyer plus social tiles, or a full market stall kit, or a complete sales pack. Cheaper than commissioning the same pieces one at a time, and they actually look like they belong to the same business.

Design days, $1,600 A full day held for you and nothing else. Best when you have accumulated a pile of small jobs and want them cleared in one hit rather than dribbled out over two months. Booked in advance, delivered within the day.

Monthly retainers Eight hours a month, $1,300. Sixteen hours a month, $2,400.

An agreed block of design time every month at a better rate than project work, because you are guaranteeing the volume. Suits businesses running consistent campaigns, seasonal promotions or regular social content. You stop briefing from scratch every time and I stop asking you the same questions.

Every quote is fixed before we start. No hourly creep, no invoice at the end that makes your stomach drop.

How it works

1. Fit check, 15 minutes, free You tell me what you need and roughly when. I tell you whether I am the right person and what it will cost. If a design day makes more sense than a project, I will say so.

2. Brief and quote A short written brief so we both know what we are making. Fixed price, fixed scope, clear timeline.

3. Design First concepts, then one or two rounds of revisions at agreed checkpoints. You see work at milestones rather than getting silence and then a surprise.

4. Handover Press-ready files, web-ready files, editable templates where relevant, and the working files if you want them. Named sensibly so you can find them again in eight months.

Why WORK

WITH me?

A woman with glasses holding a white mug with a sunburst design, smiling excitedly, sitting on a brown couch against a blue background, wearing a colorful striped sweater.

I've spent 19 years designing brands and campaigns that don't just look good — they connect, convert, and stick in people's heads. That includes senior work for Peter Alexander, Kathmandu, Dotti, and Portmans, plus independent work with founder-led businesses who wanted that same level of thinking without the agency overhead.
